-====== Writing Text ======
-
-⇐ back
-
-FCKEditor enables the user to format text via the toolbar in a similar way to word processing programs. However certain additional requirements should be remembered.
-
-While word processing usually tries to produce visually agreeable print outs, on the internet texts also need to be semantically structured, so that different output devices and search engines receive the necessary information.
-
-Texts from internet pages mainly consist of the following elements:
-
-  * Headings
-  * Paragraphs
-  * Lists
-  * Citations
-  * Etc.
-
-This formatting is interpreted by the template and the stylesheet in order to present the text correspondingly. The main elements are the following:

-
-===== Paragraphs and Line Breaks =====
-
-FCKEditor is preconfigured to produce a new paragraph when you hit <enter>, hitting <shift+enter> will produce a line break. On the internet all texts should be running texts. Line breaks are mostly only necessary in poetry or song texts:
-
-New verse (paragraph)\\
-New line (line break)\\
-New line
-
-New verse (paragraph)\\
-New line (line break)\\
-New line
-
-Stylesheets of templates should provide that between paragraphs a clearly visual space is displayed.
-
-In source code view this should look as follows:
-
-<code html><p>
-New verse (paragraph)<br>
-New line (line break)<br>
-New line
-</p>
-
-<p>
-New verse (paragraph)<br>
-New line (line break)<br>
-New line
-</p></code>
-
-**<p>** ... **</p>** encloses a paragraph\\
-**<br>** generates a line break.
-
-⇑ top
-
-===== Headings =====
-
-A heading is started with hitting <enter> to create a new paragraph. Place the cursor in the paragraph you want to format as heading and open in the toolbar the menu "Format". Choose the level of the desired heading (1-6). The paragraph is now formatted as heading. The visual representation depends on the stylesheet of the template.
-
-If you want to create a new page, choose between levels h1-h3. To create subheadings on a page choose between levels h4-h6.
-

-
-In source code view this should look as follows:
-
-<code html><h4>Heading</h4></code>
-
-**<h4>** ... **</h4>** encloses a heading of level 4.
-
-===== Lists =====
-
-⇑ top
-
-Create the different list items at first as different paragraphs. Highlight all paragraphs of your list and go with the mouse to the editor toolbar and click the menu button "Insert/Remove Numbered List" or "Insert/Remove Bulleted List".
-
-The highlighted paragraphs will be transformed into list items. Their visual display depends on the stylesheet of the template. Lists may look like this:
-
-**Bulleted List** (<ul> - unordered list):
-
-  * List item 1
-  * List item 2
-  * List item 3
-
-**Numbered List** (<ol> - ordered list):
-
-  - List item 1
-  - List item 2
-  - List item 3
-
-In source code view this should look as follows:
-
-<code html><ul>
-   <li>List item 1</li>
-   <li>List item 2</li>
-   <li>List item 3</li>
-</ul>
-<ol>
-   <li>List item 1</li>
-   <li>List item 2</li>
-   <li>List item 3</li>
-</ol></code>
-
-**<ul>** ... **</ul>** encloses a bulleted list\\
-**<ol>** ... **</ol>** encloses a numbered list\\
-**<li>** ... **</li>** encloses the different list items of both kind of lists.
