Prepare publication

With CMSimple_XH, every change is normally published immediately after saving.
This is not a problem for small changes, but is sometimes unfavorable for extensive adjustments to the content.

What can be done?

Version 1.8 provides a solution for this.

1. Under:

Admin menu → Settings → Backups

create a manual backup. (Do not use "tmp" or "content" as names at this point!)

2. Under:

Admin menu → Settings → Language file → Publish

select this backup and then save it.

Content changes can now be saved without being published immediately.
Only those who are logged into the system can track these changes.

Once the content is prepared and ready for publishing, simply undo step 2 and delete the corresponding backup if necessary.
